Today, the Travis County Commissioners' Court supported all employees of the Travis County Sheriff's Office.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office has always been committed to one agency, one mission, fostering an inclusive working environment. Today, our leadership attempted to move in a different direction.

Thank you to Judge Brown, Commissioner Gómez, and Commissioner Travillion who understand the importance of inclusiveness, equity, and an unconditionally positive working environment for all Travis County employees. 

Inclusiveness and equity were upheld for all TCSO employees today and the court continues to demonstrate that every employee's voice will be heard.

Judge Brown made it clear that the Travis County Sheriff's Law Enforcement Association (TCSLEA) raised concerns about inclusiveness and equity regarding the proposed changes to the jail incentive program.

TCSLEA will always stand up and voice our concerns to promote a fair working environment.
